Matt JOnes was born with pen in hand and two eyes for detail.

 

A formally trained industrial designer turned artist fuelled on the hard stuff; tea with milk and two sugars, Matt formed his alter ego Lunartik with a vision of merging the boundaries between art and design. He has exhibited his creations worldwide.

 

Creator of the iconic Lunartik in a Cup of Tea art toy, renowned for his customising skills, accomplished in producing high quality resin cast objects and interpreter of a mind full of ideas into cool, clean and cute character art. Driven by his vision of a character filled world and an ever developing story which will always have an inevitably bizarre outcome.

 

In 2009 Matt conceived and curated the Custom Tea Tour. The event brings together 35 global artists, through 12 venues around the world - a celebration of making a decent British cuppa.
